Straight forward or complex changes to your home to make is more accessible.
There are times when our clients want to add their own style and personal preference. If additional costs are incurred the client can choose to pay the difference themselves for above standard items, or for elements that don’t meet the funding criteria.
Home modifications are different to renovations or remodeling. Home modifications are designed around a functional need or an existing barrier that is limiting a person’s access to parts of their home.
When we work with people who are finding parts of their home difficult to access we start by looking at whether there is a simple and cost effective solution to mitigate the problem.
Complex home modifications can be disruptive so we work with you and the Builder to decide if it’s safe to stay home while the works are taking place. If it’s not safe or practical for you to stay home during the building phase your care team will help find alternative housing.
